For those heading west, Middletown is about an hour-plus to Trenton, add another 20/30 minutes if continuing on to Philadelphia.
The Middletown Township school system, the district, consists of 17 public schools, educating, showing over 10,000 students as currently enrolled. Of the 17 schools, 12 are elementary, 3 are middle schools and then there are 2 public high schools Middletown South and North. There are also 2 private high schools and 3 private grammar schools in Middletown Township. Speaking of which, the beaches, most of which are free, offer easy access, perfect for just hanging out, kayaking or trying your luck at landing a monster, the area is known for some of the best Striper fishing on the entire East Coast.
